Thank you for your understanding of my non-post last Sunday.

The act of writing has been for so long the way I have made sense of my life and the world.

It’s been central to my identity. It’s kept me alive.

It’s deeply troubling to suddenly find it gone.

Because I couldn’t write, I designated last week as “take care of myself week”.
