Hello Paying Subscribers #2

I am trying, in these short films, to grope my way towards understanding how best to use the paid for subscriptions option in Substack.

It’s complicated. I’ve tried in the past to put some of my writings behind a paywall, and then found myself utterly reluctant to do so.

Good words should be available to everybody… but then good writing is a risk and a skill and it’s absolutely reasonable to ask people to pay for it.
