I wonder what the mood in the boat was like as they traveled back across the lake after being begged to leave.
I can't imagine it would've been really very celebratory.
When I was a child, I was taught that this story was about Jesus' power as a miracle worker.
I can't help thinking now that this is a story that gives a warning, a warning that even with the best of intentions, power can cause damage.
And I really do think that Jesus is allowed to get things wrong sometimes….
