The wind chime at the start of this video belonged to one of my oldest friends.

For years, every week she used to co-counsel together.

And at the beginning of every session, I’d blow on the wind chime to make it ring.

And again when, towards the end of her illness, we’d meditate together.

She was a wise loving woman who taught me so much about life and death.

After she left us, he daughters gave me the wind chime.

And making it sound reminds me that her good ness still rings out in the world;

and that he light till shines.

By the way, this is Mark 1:21-28 in the First Nations Version.

I’ve a feeling if I put that at the top of this post, people won’t want to watch the video. The established churches have on the whole done a truly terrible job of communicating what they want to say….
