It’s important we understand: because we are seeing these deep understandings of manhood being embodied in the leadership of the USA.
Especially in Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump in their disastrous conduct of the Iran War.
I can see such strong links between this and the abuse I suffered in the English public school system.
I was very lucky to be what we now call trans from the very beginning of my life in this system.
It caused me immense suffering: but it saved my life.
There is so much more to be said about this…
…and I will continue to try to say it.
