I needed these words today as I was opening my new show “Ringing out the changes” in St Marys Cathedral for the Edinburgh Fringe.
It's a weird thing to be performing a new show with a dodgy hip. And I wasn't quite sure how it was going to work.
In fact, I wasn't at all sure how the show was going to work at all but that is another story.
What this meant was that the kind of trust this reading is talking about, a sense that things will somehow turn out right, was something I needed to be reminded of…
And they did.
